General warning
Trading CFDs, foreign exchange, and digital assets carries substantial risk and may result in the loss of all invested capital. Past performance is not an indicator of future performance. Please ensure you fully understand the risks and invest only capital whose loss you can afford.
Seven principal risks
- Market risk. The value of financial instruments may rise or fall. In extreme market conditions, losses can occur very quickly and in large magnitude.
- Algorithm risk. Our models trade based on historical patterns. In never-before-seen market conditions, models may make sub-optimal decisions.
- Liquidity risk. In extreme market conditions, liquidity for certain instruments may dry up, causing slippage and difficulty closing positions.
- Foreign exchange risk. For trades in foreign currencies, exchange rate movements against the USD or your base currency may impact performance.
- Leverage risk. CFD trades use leverage, which can amplify both gains and losses. Losses may exceed the original deposit.
- Counterparty risk. In the event of a prime broker insolvency, delays or losses may occur. Segregated accounts and investor compensation schemes (applicable investor compensation schemes in your jurisdiction (e.g. SIPC, FSCS, CIPF, or equivalent)) reduce this risk.
- Regulatory risk. Changes in regulation (e.g. applicable securities regulators rule changes, equivalent international frameworks amendments, MiCA (EU) implementation-EU regulatory divergence) may impact availability or terms of certain instruments.
Performance is not guaranteed
Kenvestium provides no performance guarantees. Past performance of our models is not a reliable indicator of future results. Market conditions can change fundamentally, and models may act sub-optimally in new conditions. We publish honestly when models perform poorly — we do not trim results for optics.
Suitability self-assessment
Before opening an account, please assess yourself:
- Do I understand how algorithmic trading platforms operate?
- Can I afford to lose the invested capital in full?
- Do I have a clear investment horizon and risk profile?
- Am I familiar with the tax consequences in my jurisdiction?
If you cannot clearly answer "Yes" to any of these questions, we advise you to consult an independent financial advisor before investing. Kenvestium is not an independent financial advisor.
